At Zen mode: Ikoi ("we," "our," or "us"), your privacy is fundamentally respected. We built this app to help you pause, reduce mindless screen time, and find moments of calm without intruding on your digital life.

Zen mode: Ikoi is a free, privacy-first application. We do not collect, store, track, or transmit your personal data to external servers. Everything you set up within the app remains strictly on your device.

02. Information We Do Not Collect

Unlike traditional apps, we do not require account creation, logins, or personal details. Specifically:

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location data, or contact details.

✕ No App Usage Tracking

We do not record or transmit details about which specific apps you choose to pause or how long you use them.

✕ No Audio / Voice Recording

Zen music and soundscapes are stored locally. We never access your microphone or monitor audio output.

✕ No Analytics or Ads

We do not use third-party tracking software, ad networks, advertising SDKs, or data brokers.

03. Local Device Storage & iOS Frameworks

To deliver features like interrupting automatic scrolling or setting up Zen Sessions, Zen mode: Ikoi leverages Apple’s native iOS frameworks (such as Screen Time / Device Activity APIs).

Apple Privacy Safeguard: Permissions requested for Screen Time or app management are strictly managed directly by Apple’s iOS system. Your app selection lists and session preferences are encrypted by iOS and stored exclusively on your device. They are never accessible to us or any third party.

04. Diagnostic Data (Optional)

If enabled in your iOS system settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated, completely anonymous crash logs and diagnostic info to help improve app performance and stability. This data contains zero personally identifiable details and can never be linked back to you.

05. Children's Privacy

Our application does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because no data collection takes place, Zen mode: Ikoi complies fully with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and international child privacy regulations.

06. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect app updates or regulatory changes. Any modifications will be updated on this web page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
