Privacy Policy

Introduction

AgentOS ("we", "our", or "us") is an iOS application that lets you connect to and interact with AI agents running on your own devices or infrastructure. We built AgentOS with a strong commitment to your privacy.

This policy explains what information AgentOS accesses, how it is used, and what controls you have. We encourage you to read it carefully.

        Short version: AgentOS does not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data, conversation history, or AI outputs. Everything stays on your device or travels directly between your device and the agent you configure.
      

Data Collection

AgentOS does not collect personal information. We do not operate data-collection servers, analytics pipelines, or advertising networks connected to this app.

Specifically, we do not collect:

Your name, email address, or account credentials
Conversation content or AI responses
Usage statistics or behavioral analytics
Device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data
Contacts, photos, or media from your device

If you contact our support team, you provide information voluntarily and only to resolve your issue. We do not use it for any other purpose.

Data Stored on Your Device

AgentOS stores configuration data locally on your device using iOS secure storage. This includes:

Connection settings for the agents you add (hostnames, ports, relay identifiers)
API keys or tokens you enter to authenticate with your agents
App preferences and display settings
Conversation history (kept locally, never synced to our servers)

Sensitive credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain, which encrypts them using your device's hardware security. You can delete all app data at any time by removing AgentOS from your device.

We do not back up your data to our own servers. If you use iCloud Backup, iOS may include app data according to your iCloud settings — this is controlled entirely by Apple, not by us.

Network Communication

AgentOS connects exclusively to our remote servers to process your requests and deliver AI agent responses. There is no local or self-hosted connection mode — all communication travels through our infrastructure.

        Server location: Our servers are hosted in the European Union. Your data is processed and stored within the EU and is subject to EU data protection law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
      

What is transmitted when you use the app:

Messages you send to an agent and the responses returned to you
Authentication tokens used to verify your session
Basic connection metadata (timestamps, request size) for operational purposes

We do not sell, share, or use your message content for advertising or to train AI models without your explicit consent.

AI model hosting: Some of the AI models available in AgentOS are hosted within the European Union. Where a model runs in Europe, this is clearly indicated in the app at the point of selection, so you always know where your request is processed.

Policy changes: If we change our server infrastructure, move data to a different region, or update our network policies in any way that affects where your data is processed, we will notify you clearly in the app before the change takes effect.

All connections between AgentOS and our servers use TLS encryption in transit.

Device Permissions

AgentOS requests only the permissions required for features you actively use. You can manage all permissions in Settings → Privacy & Security on your iPhone.

Camera Used to scan QR codes when pairing with a new agent. Not used otherwise.

Local Network Required to discover and connect to agents running on your local Wi-Fi network.

Notifications Used to deliver agent responses or connection status alerts when the app is in the background. Fully optional.

Microphone Used only if you enable voice input to send spoken messages to your agent. Not accessed otherwise.

No permission is required to use AgentOS's core chat functionality. Revoking any permission disables only the associated feature.

Children's Privacy

AgentOS is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through this app, please contact us at support@clawchat.co and we will take steps to address it promptly.

If you are a parent or guardian and have concerns about your child's use of AgentOS, we encourage you to use iOS Screen Time controls to restrict access.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, provide an in-app notice.

Continued use of AgentOS after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. If you disagree with a change, you may stop using the app and delete it from your device at any time.
